Glamour Models, Mum & Me

O mi gosh,! Just watching it on BBCiplayer, its got Alicia Douvall and her daughter Georgia. I feel such a pitty for her poor daughter, Alicia is clearly an awful selfish mother. Their relationship is so strange its like the roles are reversed. The daughter is so well grounded and whats to go on to be an actress, Alicia surprisingly wants her to have a boob job at 16 and become a glamour model,! Eeek! As you can see Georgia is naturally GORGEOUS! Its worth a watch, heres the link....

Autumn/Winter10 Fashion Trends

So im totally not a summer girl, I love nothing more than curling up infront of the tv on rainy days with cosy lounge wear, big mug of hot choc, and the fire blazing, ahh lush! Mind you the way the weather is in Ireland it mite aswel be winter-its just not as easy to get away with the big coat and wooly scarfs- yet ;) Believe me i've tried!

Im not TOO much into fashion, as in i dont count myself as having a particular style. Dont get me wrong i would love to but tbh i just dont like standing out too much. I love florals, chunky cardies, balzers and skinnys the most, And i truely believe any outfit can be made look amazing with the right accessories :)

So anyway (I do ramble on, im sorry!) Im atm im looking into what the 'in' style will be this A/W looks like vintage knitts are big YAY for me. So here is what ive found so far-

Avaitor Jacket
The aviator jackets is key trends for autumn winter 2010 and we are seeing oodles of aviator style jackets hitting the high street in the new AW10 collection arrivals. From leather to shearling - the aviator is a must have autumn and winter jackets. Loving this one from NEXT comes in at £75 bit pricey but it looks amazing! It Faux sheepskin- Hint to the Bf? Mmm worth a try ;P

Lace and Velvet
Lace dresses and Velvet jackets are going to be big this A/W10, the high street are already emerging with more Lace dresses in their new collections, the Velvet blazers and coats are also said to be must have items! So get in there quick :)

  

Muted Tones/beige

The bright colours we have seen in S/S10 are out, instead they are being replaced with muted and beige tones in A/W10 like gray, chocolates, charcoals and olives evident but with the odd splash of vibrancy coming from deeps reds. What was big on the catwalk was camel from camel coat to trousers. You will see many caramels beiges and taupe in A/W10. Now onto Footwear

Most fashionistas will be pleased to know that the military boots that emerged from S/S10 will also be sticking around in A/W10- one less buy to worry about :) Another trend that we have seen before is the equestrian style flat knee high boot, this is to make a come back. Another Look that had dominated A/W09 was the over the knee boot and they are due to be back and as big as ever befor, so get hoking in your storage cases and buff up your boots girls! UGG boots will no doubt be still hugely in fashion (WILL THEY EVER GO?) Especially as the sheepskin and faux fur trend is to be big.  Suede textures will be seen in many high street collections. Expect to see the must have shade of camel and look out for round toe court shoes and lace up pumps to add to your footwear collection for autumn winter.
